The hotel was a cosy base for enjoying a quiet area, right by the restaurant, a good beach with nice snorkelling and great views and a dive shop that rents quality snorkel gear for 100 Baht per day. All the staffs were affable and excellent. Had good sleep at the double room.

We truly enjoyed almost everything, had pleasant experience.

Upon arriving after a long drive, we were greeted by the excellent and friendly staff while checking into our comfortable economy double room with a cozy bed.

Great location - an easy stroll to wherever we needed to go. It only took us 10 minutes to walk to the bus stop down south. 🚶‍♂️.

The rooms at Family Tanotebay Resort were bright and airy with plenty of natural light coming through the windows. I loved having my own private balcony where I could relax and enjoy the view. The seating area was a nice touch and the bathroom had a convenient shower.

Personally, I found the fan in the room to be a little underwhelming. But hey, that's just my opinion!

I was absolutely blown away by the mind-blowing location of this resort! Being just steps away from Tanote Bay, it gave us the best access to one of the most jaw-dropping snorkeling spots on Koh Tao. The variety of fish we saw was incredible, and we even had the option to jump off a cool rock for some adrenaline-pumping fun. The cute bungalows were spacious and comfortable, and we loved that there was a dive shop nearby where we could rent quality snorkel gear for a great price. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. They even went the extra mile to promptly install an extra bed for us when we requested it. The beach was gorgeous and not overly crowded, providing a relaxed atmosphere. This resort is an ideal starting point for diving courses as well. the location, service, and amenities exceeded our expectations and made for an unforgettable vacation. I highly recommend this place if you want an amazing swimming and snorkeling experience!
